EPIDIAN - EPOXY RESINS

The epoxy resin group, EPIDIAN® has been present in the offer of CIECH Sarzyna S.A. for over 50 years; the Company is the only producer of epoxy resins in Poland. The CIECH Group, in co-operation with research centres, increases the quality of the manufacturing process and extends the available assortment from year to year.

Notations:
BPA - Bisphenol A-based resin
BPF - Bisphenol F-based resin
BPA/BPF - Resin based on a mixture of bisphenol A and bisphenol F
C12-C14 - Resin modified with aliphatic glycidyl ether (C12-C14)
Cardura - Resin modified with glycidyl ester of neodecanoic acid
Hexane - diglycidyl ether - Resin modified with 1.6-hexanediol diglycidyl ether
Butanediglycidyl ether - A resin modified with 1.4-butanediol diglycidyl ether
Cresyl glycidyl ether - Resin modified with cresyl-glycidyl ether
MEK - Methylethylketone
BDG - Butyldiglicol
MBIK - Isobutylmethylketone

Epoxy resins for powder paints

Solid epoxy resins (SER) for the production of powder paints.
Widely used in the industry for anti-corrosion protection - in the production of metal elements exposed to adverse conditions, particularly related to chemical factors, such as the protection of pipes, valves, tanks, tools and car parts.

Epoxy resins for powder paints with levelling correctors - Masterbache

Solid epoxy resins (SER) with levelling correctors for the production of powder paints.
They are excellent for producing highly aesthetic coatings in the production of home appliances, steel furniture, bicycles, and toys.

EPIDIAN® 031M
EPOXY RESIN FOR POWDER PAINTS A NEW DURABILITY STANDARD

Powder coating based on EPIDIAN® 031M resin retains the colour of the coating when confronted with high temperatures.

Hybrid paint based on EPIDIAN® 031M epoxy resin:

  • up to 40% less yellowing of the coating during heating to high temperatures (30 min/220°C);
  • expressive colours.

EPIDIAN® 031M can also be used for the production of pure epoxy powder paints.
